Our Feedstocks
Most of our surfactant chemistry begins with renewable, plant-based oils. We've chosen our feedstocks for performance, traceability, and the lower-impact stories they let our customers tell.
Coconut
A perennial tree crop that delivers the C12 chemistry behind much of our personal care and HI&I portfolio — naturally derived, biodegradable, and well-suited to mild formulations. Sourced responsibly with traceability built into our supplier audit process.
Rapeseed
A temperate-grown annual crop that gives us C18 fatty acid chemistry close to our European manufacturing footprint — supporting supply-chain proximity, traceability, and feedstock diversification away from tropical oils.
Guar
A drought-tolerant legume that brings functional polysaccharide chemistry to personal care and industrial applications — without competing with food, water, or forest, and supporting smallholder farming in arid regions.

A portion of our chemistry is derived from palm and palm kernel oil precursors. Where we use palm, we source responsibly through RSPO Mass Balance. Where customers want palm-free pathways, our team can guide you to alternatives across our portfolio.
