What are cationics?
Cationic surfactants and polymers carry a positive charge in water. This positive charge allows them to adsorb onto surfaces such as hair, skin, textiles, metals, minerals, and many industrial substrates.

Cationics are substantive and adsorb onto negatively charged surfaces. They can provide conditioning, lubricity, softness, corrosion resistance, antimicrobial performance, and emulsification. Unlike many other surfactant classes that primarily work in solution, cationics are often selected for their deposition performance.
